A registry cleaner will clean up temporary files (both from Windows and from browsers), file fragments, histories, cookies and even your recycle bin. Installation is a breeze and I was up and running a registry scan within ten seconds. Check boxes about for the advanced user/tinkerer are abundant and welcomed, though it is set up by default for the average user to take advantage of it with just a few mouse clicks.

The cleaner section file-tree structure allows for easy management under the “Applications” tab to check or uncheck different apps and browsers as a whole, or you can adjust individual parameters. Say you want to get rid of all your cookies and cache from Firefox and Opera, but you wanted to keep your cache from IE since you last visited a now-defunct site… uncheck the box, hit Analyze, and you’re good to go.

Under “Tools” you will find tabs for “Uninstaller” and “Startup.” The uninstaller was fast and efficient, while the startup area lets you enable and disable or even delete programs.

Now, you may be saying, well, I think I will just try to do registry cleaning on my own. Big mistake. You could potentially damage your hard drive if you were to delete the wrong file by mistake. Better be safe and leave the registry cleaning to a professional

The best program for registry cleaning is RegCure. You can get a FREE SCAN by clicking here.
